Lima Area Youth Orchestra is excited to be back for the 2024-2025 season. More information about LAYO performances will be coming soon. Our organization is committed to providing a safe and educational experience for our students. The first step for our season is to audition our group. Follow the steps below to complete your audition in-person or virtually.

2. Work on Your Audition Selection
Click on your instrument below. The button will redirect you to a PDF file of your instrumentation's audition materials.
All Instruments & parts will be required to do 2 scales, a short prepared piece on the page, and an additional prepared piece of your choosing.
If you are a pianist or harpist, please perform at least one piece of music that demonstrates your skills. Contact us for more information first, please!

For those unfamiliar with Lima Senior High School, you will want to park in the back of the school (the side with no flag pole), and walk to door E3, which is next to the large cargo door to the auditorium. Restrooms will be just inside on the left.
