Lima Area Youth Chorus
This year, our organization will also include a new ensemble, The Lima Area Youth Chorus!
The youth chorus will be an auditioned mixed chorus group for 7th graders through 12th graders. Students wishing to audition should prepare a vocal solo of the standard western vocal repertoire (not musical theatre, jazz, pop, etc). Students may bring their own accompanist, but one will be available at auditions to play for your student. Students should also be prepared to have their range tested and to do some sight reading of our upcoming music.
We hope you will send your best and brightest to audition for this new and exciting ensemble. We envision LAYCHO to be a place where our best choral students can deepen their passion for vocal music, perform some spectacular pieces of vocal literature, and build relationships with other hard working students in their own community.
